Hybrid Exchange Roadmap
The Pumpswap hybrid exchange is our long-term flagship product. This roadmap outlines our security-first execution plan from staking infrastructure to hybrid exchange public beta.
Milestones are development objectives. Dates are subject to audit outcomes and technical progress.
Phase 1: Staking Infrastructure
Status: Live on Devnet - Entering Audit - Q4 2026 The current priority is our battle-tested Solana staking platform.
Completed and in progress:
- Solana Devnet testing with 100+ test cases and full edge-case coverage
- Validation of staking, unstaking, reward funding, and reward claims
- Full compatibility with SPL Token Program and Token-2022 (All Extensions)
- Validation of pool administration, role-based access, and emergency pause controls
- Security hardening, gas optimization, and technical documentation
- Audit preparation: Code freeze, test coverage report, and threat modeling
This phase concludes with independent security audit and mainnet readiness report.
Phase 2: Exchange Architecture and Planning
Status: Upcoming - Q1 2027
Following staking platform mainnet, we finalize exchange architecture:
- Product requirements and PRD finalization with community feedback
- Trading engine architecture: Matching engine, order book, and execution layer
- Custody model finalization: MPC + Smart-Contract Settlement hybrid design
- Security architecture: Key management, cold storage, withdrawal safeguards
- Smart-contract and ecosystem integration design (LP & PLH utility)
- Compliance framework, monitoring, and incident-response planning
Deliverable: Public technical whitepaper v2 for hybrid exchange.
Phase 3: Core Exchange Development
Status: Planned - Q1-Q2 2027
Core development phase - building the exchange:
- Core trading functionality: Spot trading, advanced order types, TradingView charts
- Account and asset-management workflows: Hybrid custody (self-custody + MPC)
- Market information and pro trading interfaces: Portfolio, P&L, analytics
- Blockchain integrations: On-chain settlement, proof-of-reserves, staking-integrated trading
- Administrative and operational controls: Risk engine, admin panel, compliance tools
- Automated strategies foundation: DCA, Grid, and Copy Trading modules
Deliverable: Private beta with 500+ whitelisted traders
Phase 4: Security Review and Release Preparation
Status: Planned - Q2 2027
Before any public launch - non-negotiable security gates:
- Full functional and integration testing with 10k+ simulated users
- Independent security assessment of exchange application and infrastructure
- Smart-contract audits for settlement and staking contracts
- MPC custody audit and key-management penetration testing
- Operational monitoring, incident response drills, and disaster recovery testing
- Legal and compliance review for listing operations
Launch Criteria: All critical and high-severity audit findings resolved. Public audit reports published.
